How well adjusted are we to comfort zones? Do we exercise caution often, as we are afraid of the outcomes, or the unknowns? Do we take uncalculated risks, or trust in the universe to guide our way. Of course not! We are traditionally conditioned to live in safety, go to school, get a job, buy a house, grow old, retire… and try to and enjoy your twilight years… pity you spent all your life working so hard with little or no time to indulge yourself in your true passions.

We call our passions sometimes, hobbies. This keeps it safe, and keeps it limited. Oh I have a hobby, it’s a fun hobby, but i could never make money from it…because it’s a hobby!

How about this, what would life look like if you truly lived your passions. You woke up each day, with a sense of passion about what lies ahead of you. You bring value and happiness to each moment you are alive. Now doesn’t that sound like living!!

How would you feel? What emotions would you experience? How would you communicate to your significant others…..

Think about that for awhile……

  6. Believe it or not, just last night I was having a conversation on this very topic with a friend. The frustration of being so deeply entangled within a system that more often than not, forces one to live a certain kind of life. Very few dare to break free.
    Like you rightly urged, we need to stop and think what we really want from life and how to get there. Thanks for reminding us!

    1. Thank you for taking the time to read. I’m hoping more people are realizing that the current way of life is flawed. We really should be looking after one another, loving each other, and most of all, finding internal peace within ourselves, so we are better placed to live authentically 🙂

  7. It is attractive as it is scary because we were never taught to live that way. I hope, there will be more change in the minds, and we can change our limiting beliefs and start living the life we are passionated about. And that there will be more people leading by example, bc the inspiration is important!
